I am a husband, a dad, a person of faith, and a franchise executive who spent a decade learning how to run a company without letting it run me. Now I help other operators do the same.
Three chapters, one company
I built the systems
I came up through technology. Point of sale, online ordering, the data behind every shop. I loved it. I learned how a multi-unit brand actually works by wiring it together, one location at a time.
Then everything climbed to me
Running the company day to day meant every big call, every hire, every fire came across my desk. I approved things I was not the expert on because the stakes felt too big. My calendar owned me. Home got what was left.
I was the bottleneck, and my family got the tired version of me. I am not proud of that. It is why I do this.
President, owner, a different way to lead
As president and co-owner of a national multi-unit brand, I helped grow it across the country. What made the difference was not working harder. It was the right people in the right seats, one weekly rhythm, and handing off the hats I loved, including technology.

My faith shapes how I decide, how I treat people, and where I go when the week gets hard. You do not have to share it to work with me.
My wife, Malia, and I are raising our boys with a few simple rhythms: dinner together, a real day of rest, and phones that get put down. When I protect that, I show up sharper at work. When I do not, everybody pays for it.
